Aquabot power supply fallls into pool

So, while my Aquabot was busy cleaning the pool, it's power supply got knocked into the water. I pulled it out as fast as I could. It tripped the gfci outlet it was plugged into. I have it drying out now. Any advice on how I can get it to work again, or is it fried? Thanks.

does not sound good, but... you might try simply putting the power supply in direct hot sun for a day. Thinking of when I had a cell phone get dunked... that often works. Be sure to put any vent holes or case seams "up" so any water can evaporate fully. That should get it thoroughly dry. Since we don't know what's inside as far as electronics, that's all I can come up with. You might just be lucky on this one. Be sure to reset the GFCI before you plug it all back in. Also, check to see if there is a built in GFCI on the power supply, too, and reset if present. Good luck!

Thanks dr. I have had it sitting out in the hot sun for a day and a half. As luck would have it, about 2 months ago I picked up another power supply on ebay for about 35 bucks, delivered. I'm going to try out the waterlogged supply this morning, and will report back with the results.

So, great news, the 10 year old aquabot turbo remote power supply takes a licking and keeps on ticking, err...takes a soaking and keeps on providing dc current. Just plugged in my aquabot after a few days of drying out the transformer, which decided to cool off by taking a quick dip in the pool, and it's been going strong for 3 hours now. That's a relief. I've decided to chain that pesky transformer to a tree to prevent it from roaming again.
