Default Foam bottom with sand cove

Just bought a above ground pool. I was wondering if it is possible to put down 2" of sand, 3/4 in foam and still use a sand cove.

    Thanks in advance

you can use sand for the cove or the prefab foam cove either one. we used to install a lot of above ground pools. the sand works really well.

If you are installing foam (i.e. Gladon Happy Bottom), it will defeat the purpose of the foam to put a sand cove on top of it. The purpose of the Happy Bottom is to create a smooth bottom and adding sand on top of the foam wouldn't make sense.

You can more info on foam cove at: www.gladon.com
