    Default PENTAIR INTELLIFLO SVRS PUMP 011017 or the VS 011018

    Can someone explain the difference between these 2 pumps? The 011017 is about $200 more.

    The 011017 has SVRS which prevents entrapment. It is useful for spas and pools with single floor drains where entrapment might be an issue. But if your pool/spa has dual floor drains with ant-entrapment covers, then it really isn't needed.
