    Question Safety Covers of America

We are getting a 16x32 inground diving pool installed in a week or two. The pool store is trying to sell us a Loop Loc brand cover for $1800 installed. We found the actual cover and hardware online for less than 1/2 that and my husband could easily install it himself. My question is the website "highly recommends a couple other covers over the loop loc." The one we are most interested in is a black fine mesh cover with a 25 year warranty made by Safety Covers of America. I just have never heard of that company and hoped someone here may have some experience to share. Thanks.

    I'm pretty sure that's the one I have--safety cover, mesh, and I BELIEVE it's loop-lock

Mine is a solid cover. By Merlin Industries. 10 years and in great shape still. I think we paid around $1,200 back then, so high price tag. Good product though.
33,000ish gallon, 20X40 IG Vinyl Liner, no heater. Full sun, Sand filter. Been pool stored more times than I can count, not anymore! Thanks PF!
