Default Tree branch smashed my piping :(

Woke up Friday morning and when I went outside I did not hear my pump running. During the night a 4" wide tree branch came down and smashed the piping between the pump and the multiport valve, and also cracked the pipe at the pump inlet. Fortunately for me the Intelliflow pump sensed this and shut down.

A trip to the Homedepot and an hour of sawing and gluing and I am back up and running. Turns out it was a good thing. I always had air in the pump basket when the pump was running under 1,100 RPM. No bubbles in the returns just the basket was not full with water. Turns out the threads on the 2" inlet must have been leaking some air, as now the basket is totally full.

You're lucky the threaded pump inlet didn't crack. Good work.
