Polaris 9300xi auto cleaner

I had no takers on my last cleaner question so I asked the Doughboy dealer here. They said that I should be using an inground cleaner for my deep end AG pool. Has anyone had any experience with the Polaris 9300 either the regular or remote versions? Thanks

I've looked at it as a possible replacement for my 380, if it should ever die beyond fixing, so I'll be interested in what feedback you get, too....FWIW, the manager at my local Leslie's told me that it's no better or worse than the 380, is basically just a different body style and an extra $200.

I just bought a new 9300 and it seems to be working great. But, just after I bought it I saw the newer one with the remote control. Guess I just have to still just walk over and turn the thing on.
