Sure! It's really easy. They are called "Quick Connects" and they come as glue-ins, or threaded-male, threaded-female. Every pool store sells them and so do many plumbing supply houses. Even Home Depot and Lowes may have them. I use 'em all over my installation.
Additionally, many ball valves are combination valves/Quick Connects. I use them too. Takes me about 5 minutes to disconnect my plumbing when I close.
I have a ball valve quick connect below my skimmer, and my low drain. I have another between the low drain and the pump, and another on the return that goes to the solar panels. The main return, the two ends of the pump/filter, the filter end of the return and my backwash all use quick connects.
Cutting and gluing should not be part of your seasonal opening and closing.
