    We used to have a collection of 'slagged' pump strainers to show our customers the effect of pump cavitation.

    Check out this link showing Cal-Hypo mixed with Trichlor and this link showing different Cal-Hypo concentrations mixed with a small amount of flammable liquid.

    I need to ask because I use Cal Hypo with trichlor? I do not mix it together, I dilute the Cal Hypo and add directly to the pool water, never in the trichlor feeder!

    Once it's in the water, chlorine is chlorine, regardless of the source. You just don't want them to come in direct contact with each other.
