    Default Pool light problem

Purchased house with pool, first time pool owner, the light fixture was floating in socket. There is water in the fixture, no outer ring to keep fixture in socket. Light does not work and can not get the fixture out of water to look at or test because I can not get the cord to feed out of the socket. Yes the power is turned of at breaker. I have found what I think is the junction box and there is two to three feet of excess power cable to feed into the conduit running towards the fixture. Problem is, all under concrete, in ground pool.

I'm on my way out, so I can't answer, but I want to work others to note your location. (Virgin Islands) Otherwise, they are likely to assume you are on the mainland, and have access to everything here.

It would probably help if you take some pictures, and send them to poolforum.pics AT gmail DOT com. I think I know what you are describing, but I'm not certain.
