Soooo. Does anyone know where my Cya disappeared to? I did get my kit today in the mail and tried the cyanuric test. It was perfectly clear. Black dot never disappeared. Hope I did it right.

It's hard to mess up. just be sure you shake for 30 sec, let it sit for 1-2 minutes, shake again, pour in view tube.
Do you still have the container of CYA you got at the pool store? Could you post what it says on the label? And post also how much you added and how you added it. You have a 18,000 gal pool, correct?
