    Default galaxy pool heaters

    the pilot light is burning but can not get the bottoms burners to light when turning the selector to hot

    need to provide model / make / age info before I move the thread.

    But . . . I will tell you trouble shooting gas heater problems via forum is a doubtful enterprise. Better approach might be to go the manufacturer's site, and see if you can find their maintenance manual and use that.
