Default Wrinkles in newly installed pool liner

I am having my pool liner installed and the new liner had wrinkles in the shallow end. The company thats installing it say its because there was ground water.... From what I've read wrinkles on a brand new pool liner is because of a poorly installed liner. Should I be telling them to fix it or do they have a valid reason. This liner is only about 2 days old.

    Welcome to the Forum!

With a 2 day old liner I'd have them come out and fix them!!! Even if it is 'ground water' when they come to drain the pool down and fix the wrinkles, they can show you that it is water under the liner causing the problem (and then you can decide how to deal with it)

DO NOT let them off the hook - your new liner shouldn't have wrinkles on the floor, for ANY reason!!

I've installed 1000+ liners, if you need me to help you, I will

Thanks. The guy is comming back today to assess it but he keeps saying its ground water so its not his problem (in a nice professional way). Unfortunately the pool is full now and it would be super expensive to empty it and refill it again. We noticed the wrinkles when the water was filling and he said they might come out when the pool is full since the liner stretches but they didn't.
Thanks again for your advice and we will see what he says

They said they will come back when the water is warmer and use a plunger. Is this ok?

It's OK, as long as they do it. That's a common way of moving wrinkles around. But ask him, "how warm?" and then call him when it's that warm. I believe I'm correct in saying that wrinkles can 'set' in the liner, so sooner is better.
