Chlorine tabs: How many floaters recommended?

How many Chlorine Floaters per gallons of water?
I use 3" tabs (approx. 4 per floater) in my 14k concrete pool. I currently use 1 floater but do I need another?

If your FC stays at appropriate levels, that's all you need!
long term use of floaters will add lots of CYA to your pool, though, and cause other complications....
What are your test numbers? expecially CYA, FC, TC and pH...
