    Cool No change in CYA

I have been a lurker for sometime but I need help with my CYA.

    19,000 Gallons ABG Vinyl Pool
Sand Filter 1.5 hp pump (I think)

Opened the pool to a green swamp but thanks to the BBB method the pool is crystal clear only a week later.

    Current test with Taylor K-2006
    FC 17 ppm
    PH 7.6
    TA 100 ppm
    CH 90 ppm
    CYA 0

I have put 4lbs of stablizer over the last week by hanging a sock in the path of the return. I still do not see any change in the CYA. I have another 4lbs that I can continue to add over the next week but I am worried that it will get to high over time. So what should I do now?
Thanks for this forum. My husband is now a BBB believer! Loving the clear pool I just want to keep it that way.

You probably are just between 25-30ppm which is hard to distinguish on the test. Go ahead and add 2 more pounds. A week later, test again. That should put you right around 40 which would be a good level.
