New to Chlorine, Need "how-to's"

I am in the process of conversion from baquacil. I have NO clue (after conversion is complete) how much bleach to use, how often, when to use algaecide or how much. Can anyone give me an Idea? I do have a rainbow feeder, but don't know how to use it either. 2nd year w/pool, 1st year was baquacrap!! Help!

Go to the www.poolsolutions.com website which is the sister site to this forum. Lots of good information there. Also read the thread in the "testing and adjusting pool water chemistry" forum called "Beginner's guide to pool chemistry needs" that is at the top of that forum. When you finish your conversion, post a complete set of water testing results and someone here can take a look at them and help you make whatever adjustments are needed. Hope this helps.
