    Default Need Bleach math formula

    Hello All.

    I can't use BleachCalc because I have a Mac.

Does anyone have the simple math equation I need to know in order to calculate Chlorine ppm increases in my 13k gall AG?

I saw it posted somewhere here a while back, but can't seem to locate it now.

    thx

for a 13K gallon pool every quart of 6% raises it about 1ppm.

1 gallon (4 quarts) of 6% raises 10,000 gallons by 6 PPM. So, for 13,000 gallons, 1 gallon of 6% bleach would raise your CL level by 4.6.
