Default switching to bleach...one more question

I read somewhere on here that if you have been adding the powder chlorine in the skimmer do not add the bleach to the skimmer. I have been using the cal hypo granules in the skimmer. is that right or did I read it wrong?thanks for your reply.

Generally mixing chlorine types is a VERY bad idea. In enclosed spaces it can cause an explosion. Despite that I did add Cal-hypo via the skimmer once, and I currently pour my bleach in there. But if you've been doing it for a long time, it might be better to pour it into the return stream instead, at least for this season until it all washes out.

But that's my guess. You can ALWAYS add bleach to the return stream.
