Taglus filter help

we have had our pool and filter for quite a while. So long that the words for the functions have worn off the top. Are all filters arranged the same ex...filter, rinse , recycle , If they are can someone give me the postiions ? Hubby thinks that we may have it on recirculate instead of filter He vacuums and half an hour later there is still stuff on the bottom ..And he being a man doesn't want to ask anyone...

Have you googled your type of filter to see if you can find any pictures of it online? Welcome to the Pool Forum, by the way.

Take pictures, and send them to poolforum AT gmail DOT com, and I'll post them. With the pictures, someone is likely to be able to help. Without them, not so much.

and watermom I did look online but no pictures of the top of the filter.
