    Default Pool Liner Installation Question

Instructions for installing my new liner would have me unfold the liner on the deck of the deep end and walk the liner to the shallow end, question since I have a diving board at the deep end, should I be looking to remove the diving board before installation or should I just cover the diving board with towels and duct tape (to prevent any sharp edges from damaging the liner) and just be careful laying the new liner across diving board before walking it to the shallow end ?

I'm sorry you didn't get any replies. Did you get the liner installed ok? If so, do you have any words of wisdom for others that might someday have the same question?

    JJ,
You must be frustrated not to get any answers. Unfortunately none of the mods are into liner installation. You seem to get the idea about the diving board and the only thing I would have added is to take the board off and use lumber and towels or plastic dropcloths to cover the studs for the board and give you a smooth and lower surface to drag the liner across. I'm kind of surprised nobody has chimed in here and on your other threads. Don't get discouraged with the forum.
