    Retest pH when the chlorine comes down. If you test while the chlorine is high (above 15ppm for a K-2006 I believe), you get a falsely high pH reading.

    BTW -- Add a little info to your signature for us please. (volume, kind and size of filter, and the fact that you have a K-2006)

    since there was no CC readings this morning should i continue to keep at shock level?
