Default Pool Pilot Digital: Check/Clean Cell Message

I have a Pool Pilot Digital running at power level 2 with an SC-36 cell. I replaced the cell at the beginning of this season, as it had gone over 10,000 hours and was no longer producing chlorine.

I am currently getting the Check/Clean Cell Message whenever the salt generator is ON. The salt level is 3200. The water temp is 83 degrees. The cell is clean. Volts: 17 Amps: 4.2

The system is actually working fine, but I cannot get rid of this warning. It seems like the vols are OK, but the amps are low. Any idea how I can correct this?

    Thanks, Bill Howland

    Bill,

Have your salt tested to see if it matches the displayed salt level. Your amperage is low, which may be caused by scaled cell (which you've already said it's clean), cold water temps (below 65 degrees), or low salt. If you add a bad of salt into the pool, at the deep end, your error display should go away, which can confirm the low salt condition.
If they are different, you'llneed to calibrate the salt display to your tested salt level.
