    Default Pentair de filter

    Greetings all
    I am suspicious that my de filter may be leaking. My pool continues to gather what looks like de powder in it on a daily basis. If the Polaris is running, the water is very very cloudy. I have not run the Polaris because of this. My question is this: How difficult is it to replace the grids on a Pentair #E180007?
    Thanks!

    Sorry;

    I've been a bit preoccupies this past week, and let this post languish. I can't answer you question, but I have upgraded your user status and moved it where others can see it.

    Welcome to the Forum!

    It's a little tricky to get the grids to line up again, but it's definitely a DIY project. I think you gave the serial # instead of the model #.

    I see the question is a little old, if you want me to help talk you through the process, just let me know (I'm pretty good with DE filters)
