cleaning the snow around pool

Hi,

I am in Canada and I have an in-ground pool. I used to clean the concrete patio around the pool from the snow. Now I am thinking - maybe it is better to keep the snow above the concrete patio (the snow acts as a blanket to have warmer temperature).
Anybody else cleaning the snow around the pool?

I never clear the snow off my pool in the winter. Poconos does, but only so he can cut a fishing hole in the ice!

I see, ok - from now on I would not clean the snow either..
