Will I have to remove my ladder to use a solar cover?

If I have an A frame ladder, will I need to remove it from the pool to put on the solar cover? I was thinking of getting the Confer A frame roll guard ladder which doesn't look too light if I have to keep moving it in and out. I read another thread on here that mentioned getting drop in steps instead but most drop in steps still have railings so that would have the same problem....right?

Last year, I bunched up / folded the solar cover around the steps, I think I may cut around it this year.
