    Default Above ground pool

We are looking for a "starter" pool. Probably an above ground DIY pool. What would be a good brand to start with? Something around 24' by 52"? Thank you!

Intex pools work well, if you avoid their salt system AND never let the pool turn green (we can help with that). The filters are too small, and take forever to clear the pool if it gets slimed.

You can look at their line here:

24' is kinda big for a DIY starter pool. In the US north-east, those tend to be 'final' pools . . . and they are NOT DIY, unless you are pretty handy AND do careful prep work. Intex has a 16x32x52" pool, that you can install yourself, if you want to go that route.
