    Default Hayward 220 Chlorinator

The plastic cover where the in line connects came off my chlorinator. Its not threaded does anyone know if it should be glued on or caulked with a waterproof caulk? Reccomendations for glur or caulk ?
I know - BBB - I generally use bleach but I need to add stabalizer and this is an effective way to get my stabilizer up

    Thanks
