Brown oily ring around pool

We opened our pool a few days ago and it was clear filled up with water vacuumed the bottom thru the waste added chemicals and yesterday we have a brown oily built up around the pool water line any ideas what this might be.

It might be remnants of sunscreen, lotion,and other goo left over from last season, or may be dirt/dust that's blown in through the winter. Try a paste made of baking soda and water with a sponge, and see if that removes it.
