I have a 40,000gal 40x20 pool built in 1982. It was resurfaced with DiamondBrite about 10 years ago by the previous owner and the DiamondBrite is failing miserably. So it looks like it's time to resurface again.
I started researching the process before contacting contractors.
Is 10 years about the expected life for DiamondBrite? What about other products?
I gather that painted surfaces do not last as long as plastered products.
