Default Looking to replace pool cleaner

I need to replace our 12-year old Kreepy Krawley cleaner. Would like to stay within the 300-700 budget. Any worthwhile robotic cleaners for that price range? Any particular suction cleaners that work better than the current Kreepy Krawley?

I'm in Ohio, and we have a fair amount of pool debris due to trees, but do have an automatic cover to minimize that.

    thanks!

It would probably be helpful if you indicated if it is a liner, gunnite, or fiberglass pool as that might be a factor when someone offers an opinion of an appropriate cleaner.

Thanks! It's a vinyl liner surface.
