Vacuum hose coupler

What do you use to seal the coupler to the vac hose? Just put a new one on and get air leaks at skimmer end.

What "vac hose" do you mean?

I use that term to refer to a vacuum hose, used with a pole and a vac head, to vacuum the pool. But I'm guessing you mean something different.

You are correct. I was having air leaks at both ends after installing new couplers. Problem was solved with the generous application of teflon plumber's tape.

Yeah, usually I use silicone or another sealant when replacing hose ends.
