Default Pool sand, Glass media, or ZeoSand?

Which filter media would work best for filtering dog hair and other debri? Pool sand, glass media (Filterglass, Vitro...) or ZeoSand?

    Thank you for your advice.

I have used both sand and Zeo, and they filter dog hair, little girls' hair, and all other debris just fine. I've never used any glass media.

I use sand and it filters just fine. I add a little DE (Diatomaceous Earth) as we specify in another thread, and use skimmer socks as well. I'm still using my original sand in its tenth season.

Nearly all the dog hair will be caught in the skimmer basket. I use sand in my filter and see hardly any dog hair when I catch the backwash in a pitcher.
