    Question Pool bottom

I am having an 18x36 inground vinyl diving pool installed. Three days ago the contractor poured the pool crete, hung and began filling the pool with water. The pool was full about 2 1/2 days later. My question is when we turned the light on the pool last night. You could see a lot of impressions on the pool floor in the shallow end of the pool. Is this normal at this stage. And will the bottom of the pool smooth out at all?
    Thanks
    Casey

    Hi, Casey,

No, it won't get better....it's the nature of the beast. They make it intentionally soft so it will give if it's struck by a hard object. I have little heel indentions in my shallow end and they will only continue to accumulate. Your builder should've told you to plan on it to ward of any concerns. Sorry
