Red face Above Ground Pool in slope / bank

I am looking to install an above ground pool in my yard, however the back half of the pool would be built into the sloped part of our yard. Does anybody have experience with this and is it extremely expensive / worth it to move the ground to make this happen?

You don't want to bury a part of an above ground pool. Rather, you would want to dig out the area and build a retaining wall. Burying part of the walls makes them rust/rot/deteriorate faster and may void your warranty.
