Smile Pool Shark vs. Polaris ATV

We are into our 3rd year with 16' x 41' IG fiberglass pool. Maybe I'm too picky, but it came with a Pool Shark suction cleaner that has a tendancy to hit a wall, then just stay there for 5 or 6 minutes before moving on. I have tried increasing the suction, but that just causes the head to suck it'self into the corner and the hose wraps back onto it'self. The store has rebuilt the unit twice but it still continues to act erractically. It seems to do the job but I just think it could work better.

    Any suggestions?

Also, if I do replace it, does anybody have any experience with the Polaris ATV? I've had good results with the Polaris pressure side cleaner and the ATV does have some sort of accessory turning adapter. I'm really giving this heavy consideration.

We live in the Arizona desert and leaves are vertiually unknown here. We do get a whole lot of dust and sand.

    Thanks,

    Ralph

I am a big fan of most Polaris products, but have found this suction cleaner to work very well. Follow the link.
