Your best bet would be to test your chlorine levels in the evening after sundown, and test again in the morning before the sun hits the pool (don't run the SWCG during that time) . If you lose 1 ppm of chlorine or less in that time, then you don't have algae or anything else in your pool consuming your chlorine, and we can look to other causes for the cloudiness. If you lose more than 1 ppm of chlorine, then you have an algae bloom trying to happen, or some other water problem that is creating a chlorine demand. In that case, turn off the SWCG, shock the pool with bleach to 20 ppm (that level is based on your CYA of 60 ppm), and then hold it there by testing/adding more chlorine as needed to maintain that 20 ppm until the cloudy clears up, and until you can go all night without losing more than 1 ppm of chlorine.

Shocked....water is now crystal clear.

Chlorine level last night and again this morning 9.4.

Ive had the swcg off the last few days.

Was going to test at sundown again tonight and then turn it back on....and then look for a chlorine bump by morning

If you are trying to determine if you are losing chlorine overnight during the 'overnight' test, then you need to leave the SWCG off overnight. Otherwise, you won't be able to tell how much you are losing since the SWCG will be adding it overnight.

I did the original overnight test with the swcg off--no chlorine drop off.

I did it last night with it on to make sure my cell was functioning.
