    Default stupid gasket question

    The new gasket for my inlet is rubber cork and rubber. What is the sequence of these gaskets?

    I will guess that one rubber goes against the liner on the inside of the pool, one rubber against the wall on the outside of the pool, and the cork on top of that, under the nut to allow it to slip. This is a steel wall above ground pool, yes?
