filter sand-what kind? Where?

I know I need 150lbs of sand. What kind of sand to you get for the filter? Where did you get yours?

There is sand that is labeled for pool filter use, and that's what you want--playground or sandblasting sand are not the right consistency. Most pool stores will have it. Home Depot or Lowe's might, not sure about your area. Just make sure it's labeled for pool filter use--don't let anybody try to tell you that the other types of sand will work.
