Polaris Watermatic G1000 Lifespan
For those using this dichlor feeder, how long has yours lasted? Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!!
Yours is a very specific question to that equipment, and I don't honestly remember that equipment being mentioned on this forum before. However, while you are waiting for replies, you can use the google search linked in my sig to search the forum for other posts about it. You will have to log out to see the results until your membership is upgraded, but that's only a temporary inconvenience until Ben finishes your registration.
Welcome to the forum!

I vaguely remember seen some ads for those, in years past . . . but why in the world would you want one? For every 10 ppm of chlorine you get from dichlor, you get 9 ppm of cyanuric acid! When was the last time you tested your stabilizer (CYA) level?
Dichlor has its place, but as a routine chlorine feed? Wow! That seems to me to be just begging for problems.
