I rebuilt the 380 with the factory sold rebuild kit. The unit works perfectly. Hose is all new as are floats and swivels. All is spaced as instructed. Speed 28-30 RPM. Cooked hose in sun for two days - no coil. Still twists into braids and ties in knots. The new back-up valve seems much more powerful than the old but sadly I chucked out the old very tired parts.

Any suggestions?
