    Default Swim and Play Pools

I am looking at buying a used pool. I have friends and family that have installed AG pools before so I don't need help with that aspect. I am looking at a used Swim and Play pool that is 6yrs old. I can't find alot of info on this brand. Any thoughts good or bad.

If you look around, you don't have to BUY a used AG pool; people PAY to have them removed!

But, my vague recollection of the posts this season -- they sorta run together in my mind -- about folks who've tried what you are thinking is that the ratio is something like 1 success for every 10 disasters.

If you are very handy, and manage to get all the parts, and and find a source for missing parts, and can fabricate any parts you can't find or buy . . . THEN you might be another success.

But, the odds are against it.

(Used Intex metal frame pools are a different deal -- they are often re-installed successfully!)

Ben's right. We gave away my Mom's pool...It needed a new liner. About the only salable part of most AGs is the pump and filter, maybe the ladder.
