I have an intex 15x 48 and underestimated the commitment! We purchased a salt water generator and I higher grade pump hoping that would make life easier. SADLY MISTAKEN. Just here reading and learning. Once I get a real test kit to figure out my green cloudy issue, I will return with a proper question. Until then wish me luck...

Yeah, even with our help, the learning curve for pool operation is pretty steep!

But, the good news is, once you 'get over the hump' it really is quite easy, IF you stay on top of things, with a good test kit, regular testing and plenty of chlorine added as often as needed!

Once you get past the hump as Ben called it, you'll find that you need no more than 5 minutes per day to maintain your pool.
