Hi Everyone.

First off, I've been lurking since June trying to figure out PH, Alkalintiy, etc, etc, the wealth of information I've found here in the past couple of months has already saved me hundreds on chemicals! great job everyone!

I have an inground, 18-36 freeform, 24k gallon pool installed in 2007. Loop-loc liner, jandy pump, hayward DE filter, aqua comfort heat pump a useless frogger and a beloved polaris the family calls "Mario". Mario has tried to fail me a few times already over the years....... but i've been able to keep him going strong!

I'll be checking out posts on replacing my frogger with a standard hayward chlorinator and researching on closing my pool myself this year.

Keep up the good work everyone! I hope I can contribute with some of my experiences/horror stories too.
