    Default Multi-Port Does NOT have a "Waste" setting

    Hello guys, So I got a cheap pump/sand filter combo off ebay for my intex pool and now that I'm wanting to vacuum the dirt out of my pool, I notice I do not have a WASTE setting on my valve. I know I can vacuum through filter but could I also vacuum to rinse and it would be similar to waste except that it travels through the sand before it goes out to waste?

    You could do that, but then the sequence would need to be "Rinse", then "Backwash".

    Yes, I would still backwash and rinse again after vacuuming on rinse. Thanks Ben.
