    I changed out the liner, so yes, the cord is freed up. I thought it was just the lamp that had expired. The fixture is potted, so no going in.

    Lol, I like your thinking of a shop that's been around. But this being a copper fixture, you know they all went to the scrap yard for $$. Lol.

    If you just need to replace the BULB, that's another deal - much easier . . . IF you can get a replacement gasket.
