    Default Ultra -Flow Pump

    Hi,
I am in the process of changing the impeller on the ultra flow, after figuring out how to remove the old impeller I noticed the new one did not cover the front of the motor shaft and there is a threaded insert on the shaft for a bolt/screw to keep the impeller from coming loose. My question is Does anyone know what the bolt/screw size is, and is it a reverse thread? The impeller screws onto the shaft normally.

Thanks in advance for any input!

Membership upgraded; thread moved so you can post.

PICTURES! Take pictures of your pump - even in pieces -- and we can probably tell. Post the pics with Picasa, Flickr, Webshots or Photobucket. You can also email them to me at [email protected], and I'll post them -- but it want be before Thursday.

    Thanks PoolDoc,
The old impeller didn't have a screw but was solid and it covered the screw hole. So I just installed the new impeller the same way, the rotation keeps the impeller tight so there wouln't be a need for that screw. Thanks again.
