Algae on pool walls

Water is clear and not green. Algae is building up on the walls in the deep end. The algae does not brush off anymore. Any suggestions?

Meanwhile, if you are treating your pool with chlorine, add 3x your normal chlorine shock dose this evening and next. Tomorrow evening, brush after shocking.
