Hi,

I wasn't getting any suction after backwashing my de filter, the only way I could get the filter going was to shut down all intakes except the spa drain. I thought it was the pump so I proceeded to change the impeller. There was no change in the operation. The pump runs but just blows air from the spa return no suction.

I was wondering what damage I could have created while backwashing? Spider gasket? I checked the filter gasket and the gasket on the pump basket. Any help would be wonderful!!!
