    Default Water beetles in pool

Hi Guys I am a new owner of above ground 15x30 oval vogue zenith. My most recent k2006 readings are:
    ph 7.2
    free cl 2.2
    cc .2
    alk 100
    cal hard 130
    cya 60.

i shocked my pool with 600grams of poolboss unstabilized 65% chlorine content granules. This will help bring up my ph as well. But how do i get rid of these water beetles that swim below surface?

I don't think you do. We've got them all the time.

We get them too, my wife hates them. We net them out and let them die in the net. They can fly away if you just release them from the net outside of the pool. I didn't believe my wife when she told me this until I witnessed one come to the surface and lift off and fly away!
