draining pool question/s

Is there any advice someone wants to.share on.this? I got.a.submersible.pump and ready to go, but don't.wanna damge anything. Thanks.

Sorry you haven't gotten any reponses on this, it's just that we have very very little traffic this time of year. I'll shoot out a few emails to folks on this forum that I think could answer your questions and ask them to pop in....

Your worst enemy is ground/ surface water - it probably won't crack your pool but might cause it to float, which could be a bigger problem.

If you drain the pool to either replaster and/ or repaint, PLEASE be sure that the water under the pool won't get high enough to float the pool or wreck your improvements!
