water spraying from eye

Hi,

We had a company open our pool. Unfortunately, they left with a valve set to waste and when I close it, water sprays from the eye (the clear bulb that shows if the DE is clear). I'd like to reinstall this, is it as easy as unscrewing the eye, checking the gasket and re-tightening?

never mind, I just re-installed the eye and it stopped spraying.

Please don't start multiple threads on the same topic. This is at least the second one I've spotted by you. I'm glad your problem is solved (we always are) but we don't look kindly on members who post a new thread on the same topic if they don't think they've gotten a timely enough response. Sometime we just don't know the answer and hope somebody (like Waste, in this instance) will spot it who does.
